What do I need to bring with me when I pick up my puppy?
You should bring a towel or blanket of some sort just in case the puppy has an accident on the way home, it's better to have it on a towel than get it all over your car seats and/or floor. If you're coming by yourself, it's also good to have a dog carrier, crate, or box to hold the puppy while driving. Some people like to bring a collar and leash to put on right away, that is up to you. Also, if you're traveling a long distance, make sure to bring a bowl for water and possibly food.
We'll send you home with a small bag of puppy food to mix with whatever you buy, as well as a towel with the mothers scent on it, which often helps the puppy with the transition away from mom.
